Gold Vermeil
Vermeil consists of thicker layers of gold applied to (925) Sterling Silver. Unlike other gold plating, strict standards ensure that the gold used is of high quality and a certain thickness. Our workshop adheres to the highest quality standards, using 24K gold plating with a thickness of at least 2.5 microns, applied through an electroplating technique. Therefore, with proper care, your vermeil jewellery will maintain its colour for a long time. For a longer-lasting finish and to maintain a brighter shine, our workshop plates the gold vermeil with an anti-tarnish solution, which enhances its durability. Vermeil is more valuable than gold-plated jewellery. To preserve its quality, we recommend avoiding friction and contact with chlorine, seawater, cosmetics, and alcohol. Please remove your gold vermeil jewellery during physical activities to protect it from deformation, sweat, and friction. To clean your gold vermeil jewellery, use a damp, soft cloth, and be sure to dry it thoroughly before wearing. You can also use the polishing cloth that is included in your Louur box; however, be sure to wipe gently and not for too long, as over-cleaning may damage the finish. Occasionally, if needed, you may clean it with a small amount of solution, following the instructions provided earlier.
